Sara Wasserman is a documentary film editor living in Brooklyn, New York. She found her passion for editing and storytelling early on as a teenager, weaving the creative and technical sides of filmmaking together to create unique pieces and challenge herself. She's worked on many projects throughout her eleven years in the industry but has a special place in her heart for social justice and documentary work. She has collaborated with clients all around the world, and her work can be seen on Netflix, HBO, PBS, Univision, and Fusion. In 2018, she became a freelancer and has since worked on several major documentary projects, such as Great Photo, Lovely Life and Lenox Hill, including a recent SXSW film premiere. She continues to work on her specialty—vérité documentaries—while accompanied by her two cats.
